Nek Chand (1924–2015) R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we hear the news that on June 11 2015 Nek Chand has passed away. He had been the foremost self-taught artist in the world and his extraordinary achievement in building the 25 acre Rock Garden, complete with 2000 statues, waterfalls and amphitheatres, is unsurpassed. We will not see his like again and send our heartfelt condolences to his family.
