A colossal tiger, swishing his tail in excitement and viewed from the side, stands ready to pounce on his prey, his mouth slightly open, baring dagger-sharp teeth, his eyes focused. His colourful furry coat is rippled with rhythmical stripes of alternating white and brown markings. It is difficult to interpret the anatomy. The prey is close by; a small, twisting, fluorescent green snake, its head and forked tongue turned towards the tiger. We also see countryside with green plants and palm trees – reflected in the water – in a fading landscape with stripes of colour under a sky streaked with green. Bright white areas and strong shadows indicate strong sunlight.
