Cities
— Jonkers, BertusBertus Jonkers has been building cities over many years. In a back room of his house. The miniature buildings spread out over the floors, stairs, walls, ceilings and even into the garden. Pottering with all kinds of scrap material Bertus makes tiny ships and buildings in different sizes. He gives them physical solidity as well as a delightful patina with sand, glue and paint. The objects are mounted on plinths, which in turn stand amid circles and spirals of sand.
